09.10.99 – 15.10.99

Well usually I reserve this space to rant about something
that annoys me in the LiteStep community.  This week though, I have
some positive things to say.  Over the past two weeks something has
happened that has finally made people act.  First Visigoth goes off
and does a great tutorial in #ls_help.  Now we have a themeing
tutorial going on.  This is what is needed, and I’m happy to see it
happening finally.  The bickering has toned down for a longer period
of time than usual, action is replacing talking, and the core is being
debugged and being made stable.  I just hope that this trend continues
as it’s going.  This could be the step that LS needs to make it to the
next level.

- LiteStep on ARS Technica (11:13am 13.10)

“I was browsing around and noticed an Intro to Litestep on ARS
Technica, and its not too bad at all. Its a pity that nobody
in the actual Litestep community can come up with a nice page
like this, just maybe a tiny bit more up-to-date.. It is
interesting to note that they mention WharfAnoid on the page,
as well as FPN… whoohoo!

Tips
—-

- If your having problems getting popup.dll revision x.x to scroll
through your programs, try using SetDeskTopArea.  Make a 10 pixel
wide area at the bottom of your screen so the popups think that they
are off the screen and will scroll up.
